Instant messaging is even more of a distraction than email as it is more intrusive. If you use something like Skype, either close it down or at the very least change your status to “Do not disturb” or “offline”.
With a cellphone, either turn it off, or put it into silent mode and check if any calls or text messages were received after you have finished your tasks.
2. Make a List
I know this tip isn’t unique and probably pretty obvious, but it really does help.
Whether you use a paper diary or an electronic form like an iPhone or spreadsheet, it doesn’t really matter so long as you can see the list and mark off the items.
One thing though is you have to be realistic about what tasks you can achieve. There’s no point in writing that you’ll create ten MOBS sites by the end of the day as that’s not achievable. You are best to breakdown the tasks into good bite sized chunks as you’ll be able to complete them and feel better about marking them of the list.
3. Limit Your Research
While you do need to do research for any My Online Business Strategy website, you can waste a lot of time with things that aren’t really relevant.

WordPress is a fantastic tool for quickly creating websites for all types of online businesses. WordPress is the platform of choice for My Online Business Strategy (MOBS) and many other online businesses.

I thought it I’d talk about how important support is for my online business strategy.
Support is one aspect that is often overlooked by a lot of people. I’ll give you two examples or when I received excellent business support and one where it was just plain awful.
Great Support
Like a large number of people, I use Hostgator for my web hosting. One of the main reasons I like Hostgator (apart from price and functionality) is their support. There have been a few occasions where I’ve needed to contact their live online support. In all cases, my query/problem was responded to in less than a minute and my problem or query resolved very quickly. This is the type of service that makes happy to use Hostgator again and to recommend them to other people.
Poor Support
I recently went to purchase some software online, but I had problems with the order form. I contacted their helpdesk and submitted a ticket. Given that I had dollars to spend, I thought they’d respond very quickly.
After a few days, I posted a follow up on the support ticket saying that I wasn’t happy they had taken so long to respond. Finally, five days later I received a response. Needless to say, I decided not to purchase the product due to the poor response from Support.

Regardless of how great a product is, you really want to make sure that it has some type of guarantee of support in the event you come across any issues or have any concerns.
4. Good reputation. You simply can not survive for very long in the world of internet marketing if you have a bad reputation. The word quickly spreads if there are lots of disgruntled clients. It pays to do a little background research first.
So what points should you consider?
1. Someone who”s been around for a while and has developed a first-rate reputation. You won’t survive too long in the Internet website marketing world if you continue ripping off or providing below average products to your consumers, so the majority of online marketers that have been around for a time are there for good reason.
2. Previous products. Normally, this is the best indication as to how much you can trust the individual and/or product they’re selling. If they have delivered a very good product in the past that customers ended up being really satisfied with, then there is a very good likelihood their other products will probably be every bit as good.
